Clare Whitehead

Dr Clare Whitehead is a researcher in the English department at King’s College London, where she works on a variety of research projects, ranging from Shakespeare’s sonnets, to Milton’s study of Latin, to seventeenth-century women’s poetry. She has a PhD in early seventeenth-century performance culture from Queen Mary University of London, where she has also taught extensively on Shakespeare, early modern drama and Renaissance literary culture. She is also an Education lecturer at Shakespeare’s Globe, delivering lectures, and leading seminars and workshops, for visiting students, scholars, and actors/directors.
