Excursions

Each programme offers a wide range of exciting excursions. Travel, entry tickets (and accommodation and some food for overnight trips) is included. Examples below:

  • Boat trip to the Tower of London
  • Various theatre performances, including: The National Theatre, Shakespeare’s Globe, Donmar Warehouse, the English National Opera, at least one West End show (e.g. Hamilton, Six, etc)
  • Visit to a national news organisation (previous visits include the BBC, Guardian and Al Jazeera)
  • Classical music concert at the Royal Albert Hall, Wigmore Hall or Royal Festival Hall
  • Behind the scenes tours of Chelsea FC, the National Theatre, Shakespeare’s Globe
  • London PR agencies
  • Visit various places of worship (Wembley Mandir, East London Mosque, West End Synagogue, etc)
  • Day trip to Wimbledon tennis championships
  • Guided tour of UK Parliament
  • In-house communications departments at various London attractions (Wembley Stadium, Hampton Court Palace, etc)
  • Lecture at the London School of Economics
  • Tour of local brewery or distillery
  • Prime Minister’s Questions in the House of Commons; and Mayor of London’s Question Time at City Hall
  • Walking tours (Dickensian London, Brixton, Mrs Dalloway, Brick Lane, Queer Soho, Square Mile)
  • A variety of museums, galleries and attractions, including: Tate Modern, Museum of London, Royal Academy of Art, Apsley House, Welcome Collection,  Courtauld Gallery, St Paul’s Cathedral, British Museum, National Gallery, Kensington Palace, Imperial War Museum, Charles Dickens Museum, Churchill War Rooms,  Freud Museum, Buckingham Palace State Rooms, Hampton Court Palace, the Cutty Sark, Westminster Abbey
