GEO in London provides undergraduate students from state and independent universities and colleges throughout the Northwest of the United States the opportunity to swap a term, a semester or a shorter period of time at home for the equivalent length in London and secure credit for their studies here from their home institution.
Each course places an important emphasis on experiential learning, transforming the entire city of London into your classroom by incorporating several local outings and excursions. Courses take advantage of the world class galleries and museums like the National Portrait Gallery, Tate Modern, the Cabinet War Rooms, and of course the British Museum, which is just a short walk from the GEO in London Centre. Each term, students have the opportunity to experience London’s rich theatre options from small fringe productions to big West End numbers with big name actors like Benedict Cumberbatch, Dame Judi Dench, and Sir Patrick Stewart.
GEO in London offers overseas study opportunities not only to intending students but also to academics interested in teaching short term programmes abroad. We work with US faculty to produce customised programmes for their students.
