Liberal Arts in London – Spring Semester

Our spring semester runs for 14 weeks from early February to mid-May, with a week’s break halfway through.

We offer a variety of liberal arts subjects:

  • Britain Today: Issues and Perspectives (core course – mandatory) – taught by Amanda Milburn or Susie Thomas
  • Shakespeare the Dramatist – taught by Jean Elliott
  • Theatre, Audience and Society: Tragedy and Beyond – taught by Christine Hoenigs
  • Britain in the Age of Revolution and Reform – taught by Keith Surridge
  • The Nineteenth and Twentieth Century English Novel – taught by Susie Thomas
  • British Masters: Eighteenth Century to Present – taught by Carole Machin
  • The Economic Integration of the European Union – taught by Andreas Staab
  • There is also an internship option for this programme – seminars taught by Kalyn Franke
